Snorkels
The New Year certainly got off to a great start with 33 x divers in the water at the Bell Harbour, Monasterevin on New Years Day and 31 x divers snorkelling in Sandycove on Monday the 3rd of January. (See snorkel Log below)
Pool Training
Pool training recommences in the Curragh swimming pool on Thursday the 13th of January.
Pool fitness dates in Curragh pool are as follows:
1. Thursday December 9th (Cancelled due to bad weather)
2. Thursday January 20th
3. Thursday February 17th
4. Thursday March 10th
There will be NO open water fitness test, all water fitness tests will be conducted in the Curragh Pool.
You will need to bring your logbook which will have to have an in date medical. No Logbook/in Date medical – No pool fitness test. (This is to cut down on time spent with online registration) = My Time! 
“Provisional” Snorkel Dates & Venues, (Weather dependant):
Snorkel: Sunday 16th of January 2011 – Sandy Cove, Dun Laoghaire.
Snorkel: Sunday 30th of January 2011 – Sandy Cove, Dun Laoghaire.
Snorkel/Dive: Sunday 13th of February 2011 – Sandy Cove, Dun Laoghaire/Hook Head, Wexford.
Snorkel/Dive: Sunday 20th of February 2011 – Sandy Cove, Dun Laoghaire/Hook Head, Wexford.
Snorkel/Dive: Sunday 27th of February 2011 – Hook Head, Wexford.
Snorkel/Dive: Sunday 6th of March 2011 – Hook Head, Wexford.
I will get diving as soon as weather allows so get your snorkels done early!
D* & D** Lectures
Trainee and Club Diver lectures will commence at 2pm on the following dates:
Sunday 9th of January 2011
Sunday 23rd of January 2011
Sunday 6th February 2011
All members are welcome and encouraged to attend these lectures which are free of charge.
Venue will most likely be Lawler’s Hotel, Naas but please check before coming.
