Try-a-Dives and Training course

Naas Sub-Aqua Club Ltd. start our Try-a-Dives in October with diving course starting in November. Details as follows:

Try-a-Dives will commence on 6th, 13th, & 20th of October 2007 in Naas swimming pool from 7 – 8pm.
Skill assessment in pool for P.A.D.I. OW, Ad OW or other dive organisations on same dates. (Please let us know when you intend coming & please arrive early)
We may have further Try-a-Dive dates in November
Pool training including Snorkel & Scuba training will commence on Saturday 3rd November and every Saturday evening thereafter 7 – 8pm in Naas swimming pool
Course lectures will take place over four Sundays from 2pm – 6pm. They are Sunday 18th, Sunday 25th November 2007 & last two days of lectures on Sunday 13th & Sunday 20th January 2008 (Possible venue for lectures – Lawler’s Hotel, Naas)
Open water snorkels will commence on 1st January 2008 & diving late February – early March (weather dependent)
First trainee diving weekend away will be in Carraroe, Galway on St. Patrick’s Bank holiday weekend, 15th – 17th March 2008.
 
Trainee spaces on course will probably be limited & will be on a first come basis.

More Club Divers

Congratulations to Chris Couling (Kiwi) & Sam Williams (Ozzie) on passing their Club Diver test off the Mugglins on 13th September 2007. 

Congratulations also to Tom Cruise on passing his Club Diver test on the 9th August & Joan McElwain on passing her Club Diver test on the 4th September.

New Leading Divers

Congratulations is also in order for our two Leading Diver candidates, Liam Staunton & Brendan Flynn who passed the final part of their Leading Diver exam in Killary Harbour on the 8th & 9th September. Well done to you both.
