Dive On!

Sunshine, slack winds, flat sea & great visability – who could believe it is still March & only our second weekend of the 2009 dive season.

Yes, another great weekends diving off the Hook, Wexford was had by the club, getting the dive season off to a flying start. Thirteen club members took part in the second weekends diving & all were rewarded with some great diving while getting in their shallow dives under 20Mt. Even the yellow boxes got wet, to check out everything is still working properly after the winters rest

Blow Hole2(s).jpgMeeting at 11am at the lighthouse, Hook the enthusiastic members were Naas SAC were kitted up, waiting to be briefed at 11.20am. Seen above making a long trail down to the first dive site, the Blow Hole, followed by a dive after lunch in the Gully. We were done & dusted with two great 30 minute dives under their belt at 3.30pm and heading back for the beef & cheesecake in the Lord Bagnall.

With the shallow dives soon complete, boat dives on the old favourites like the Girl Arlene, Lismore, Idaho & 3 mile rock are on the dive menu soon.
