St. Evins Golf Society
The Society’s Captain, Brian O’Connor’s prize was played on the Curragh Golf Course on Saturday 9th August. Over thirty golfers played on the day and all enjoyed the outing. Prizes were presented at a dinner in the clubhouse. Winner of the Captain’s prize was Pat Mullarkey with 38 points. Runner up was John Connolly with 37 points. Other prize winners on the day were Denis Connolly, Peter Cullen, Pat Garry, John O’Neill, Jason Murphy, Joe Lonergan, Tom Harrison, Tony Mullaney, Dick Somers, John Byrne and Jimmy Lawless.
Gardai Notice
Windows were broken at a vacant house on the Kildare Road and Gardai are investigating. Licences now due for renewal for all firearms, the Gardai ask
holders to pay their licenses as soon as possible.
Monasterevin AFC
Training to commence shortly for schoolboys - under 12, under 14, under 16, but the club requires volunteers to coach/manage the under 11 age group. Will be held on Tuesday 9 September in the Parish Centre, commencing at 8.30p.m.

Sr Celine Collection
The Friends of Sr. Celine Conway wish to thank everyone who supported the recent Church gate collection. Sr Celine has returned to Brazil to continue her work, and is very appreciative of the support she continues to receive from the people of Monasterevin. The money given to Sr Celine is directly used in her mission, no third parties involved.

Apostolic Work Society
