During the past week two ramps were installed in St. Evin’s Park, and two ramps on the Nurney Road. Local Councillor, Francis Browne, used his discretionary grant, to have this work completed. Councillor Browne hopes that the overgrown hedge on the
Cowpasture road will be trimmed back by the council workers, as this road has two dangerous bends and the road is used by many walkers the overgrown hedge is causing problems. At the next area meeting of Kildare County Council, councillor Browne hopes to raise the possibility of the provision of a footpath from Hopkins Havens to Cowpasture.
