|This is the county's principal town and is the centre
for all host of activities. If you like a flutter there are two race
courses, Naas and Punchestown. Punchestown hosts the hugely popular
three day national hunt festival in April. However of you prefer something
a little bit faster, Mondello Park, the home of Irish motor racing
is just outside the town.
Being the county's principal town, there are any number of quality
restaurants, bars and shops to sample. These will suit every price
range and cater for every taste. If you are in town on Friday, why
not try the popular country market in the Town Hall (opens at 10.30am).
