		Robertstown Situated east of Lowtown, which is the main cross roads of the canal, lies Robertstown. This is the location of one of the old Grand Canal Hotels, which has now been restored. This is a community run project and includes a visitors centre where you can learn about the building of the canals and the role they played in the economic life of the area. To compliment the craft centre and restaurant in the centre, the town has number of local pubs where there sure to be a welcome for weary travellers. If you are visiting the area for the day why not take a trip on the restored barge the "Eustace" or book it for a party with a difference.
