County Kildare is a Golfer’s Paradise
In 2006 the Kildare Hotel and Country Club hosted the Ryder Cup Matches on its championship Palmer Course, and the European Open and Irish Open have been hosted by the K Club and Carton House.
There is a golf club or driving range in every corner of the county, from the oldest, The Curragh Golf Club, to the newest, Dunmurry Springs Golf Club, which has been built to full USPGA specifications and makes the most of the location's enviable natural resources - springs, grasses and spectacular views.
An excellent par 72 course measuring 6800 yards with many lakes, trees and wildlife areas.
