The Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS) is an adult education programme established for unemployed people over 21 years of age.
The emphasis on all VTOS courses is preparation for employment or for further studies. Therefore, Career Guidance, Counselling, Personal Development and Work Experience are integral parts of all courses.
It is also the policy of VTOS to cater for, as far as possible, individual needs. Course content is negotiated with each student and a course designed to meet each participant's needs.
All these courses are for adults only and are separate from existing school classes. Courses are studied at all levels from beginners to advanced.
No formal educational qualifications are required for any of our courses. All that is needed is an interest in the area of your choice.
