9th April 2008 - Google Maps Integrated into EASYsites
Google Maps is an online application which allows you to view a detailed map of anywhere in the world. On visiting www.google.com/maps you can enter any address to see a map of it displayed. Google maps can also be integrated into any website including an EASYsite, and the integrated map can be controlled to display the specific location that is relevent to your EASYsite. By using Google Maps in your EASYsite you can help people find where your community group is located.
A good example of Google Maps in use in an EASYsite is the Ballymore Eustace Online EASYsite. This site has a Google Map showing Ballymore Eustace, integrated into the site at www.kildare.ie/ballymoreEustace/map.html
