August Bank Holiday Weekend.
We are heading to Kilmore Quay for the August Bank Holiday Weekend from Saturday the 5th – Monday the 7th August 2006. With favourable neap tides we will hopefully get weather to match to avail of the great wreck diving off the Saltee Islands. The Idaho, Lismore & the Lennox are all waiting to be explored & great scenic dives on the Coningmore & Brandies Rocks. – TXT Rosemary SOON if travelling!

August Belmullet Weekend.
The 12th & 13th of August we are going up to Belmullet to dive with our friend Sean Lavelle, Dive West Ireland. This is always a great weekend when most of us camp out on Surgeview & dive the great dive sites off Inishkea & Duvillaun Islands. Every year we turn up another exciting new unexplored dive site. We will be diving off Sean’s boat Deloree, an Offshore 105 but if we have more than twelve travelling we will also bring a RIB.
The craic is always mighty with the Barbeque at the campsite a must!

August U260 Weekend
The 19th & 20th of August we join forces with our good friends from Dalkey Scuba Divers to dive the German u boat, U260 off Glandore, Co. Cork. Two years ago both clubs dived this together with great success. This is not every ones cup of tea, at 45 meters to the seabed & at the extremes of normal sports diving. It is only for those qualified to do so & it’s pick your own buddy time as it’s too far & too deep for an unplanned quickie! 
We will probably dive the U260 twice & the Kowloon Bridge (33 meters) on this weekend. There will be no shallow dives & it is important that you are dived up to these depths!

Annual Fancy Dress
Our Annual Fancy Dress fundraiser will be held in Tougher’s on the 21st October. Last years 70’s night was a great success with everyone enjoying the craic & raising a nice few quid for the club in the process. This year we were thinking of “From the Movies” as the theme.
I’m sure there will be a few cowboys there! 
There will be the usual extras, Disco, Dream Auction, Raffle & finger food will be served. Please support this great evening out by bringing along friends & relations, all are welcome!
