Well hello again. This month is the one time kids
have the time of their life, with chocolate coming from every angle. The days are much
longer and the weather is much more settled.
A very
important meeting will take place on 14th April in St. Kevins. The topic of the meeting is Drug
Awareness. There will be 2 Guards talking at the meeting. Drugs are rampant in our
community and it is up to us to be on the watch out for Drug-pushers. If you know of
anyone supplying drugs, dont hesitate to contact your local Garda. This month for
the first time we have a Table of Events for the Community. If you have any events
that you want put on the table, dont hesitate to contact one of the names listed
provided on the Table of Events Page. The recent clean up was very successful, with a
large amount of rubbish collected from our roads. There still remains a lot of work to do
and so on the 17th of April, another Clean Up is scheduled to take place. The starting points are as follows:
Peters
for Timahoe and Coill Dubh. Wards of Donadea for that area and Staplestown Church
for the Staplestown area. It is hoped that as many people turn up for the clean up as
possible. So dont hesitate to make a family day of it and bring everyone along for
the walk. You never
know, you might just see some wildlife and be able to talk to your children about how
important the environment is for all our little neighbours. This month also sees a piece, by Liam Holton, on
the St. Patricks Day Parade. By all accounts, a great day was had by all and a
winning day as well. Enjoy the Easter break.
