No accommodation for young offenders - Bernard Durkan (Mar 21)

Still no accommodation for young offenders despite the constant references by the Courts, says Deputy Bernard Durkan.

The Department of Education has commissioned an "independent review of residential requirements for young offenders", despite the fact that the whole country knows about the shortage of places, particularly in view of the repeated comments of Justice Peter Kelly, Deputy Durkan stated "surely the needs should be obvious at this stage".
