June Fest - ICA Kildare Yarn Bomb

The Irish Countrywomen's Association invites you to “Yarn Bomb” at the Linear Park between the 1st and 19th June 2016. Admission Free. 

Yarn bombing is a form of street art that began in the USA, soon becoming popular in Europe too. Yarn Bombers cover everyday objects in wool. The ICA has brought together enthusiastic knitters and crochet fans from all over Kildare.  Groups and individuals each took on a project at the Linear Park and let their imaginations run wild. The ICA Kildare Yarn Bomb is a first for Newbridge. Head down to the park - enjoy the explosion of colour, texture and creativity of this form of street art.
