Battle of the Bands Competition

Taking place over 4 weeks in the Arthurs Live Venue

In the run up to the annual Leixlip Festival, the Court Yard Hotel are looking for original bands, cover bands, solo artists, singer/song writers, rock & indie bands to battle it out in our Battle of the Bands competition.

This competition will take place over 4 weeks in our Arthurs Live Venue, starting on 21st April – 12th May. It's your bands chance to win Recording Studio Time, Monthly Gigs in Arthur's Live, Cash Prize and take to the Main Stage in the Court Yard on Sunday 5th June during the Leixlip Festival.

Four acts/bands will battle it out each Thursday night between 21st April to 12th May, with one winner from each night going through to the Semi Finals. 

• Heat 1 – Thursday, 21st April
• Heat 2 – Thursday, 28th April
• Heat 3 – Thursday, 5th May
• Heat 4 – Thursday, 12th May
• Semi Finals will take place on Thursday, 19th & 26th May
• Final Thursday, 2nd June

 

Winners will be announced on the night. Make sure you bring you friends and family for support, crowd participation will add to the atmosphere.

To register your interest in the Battle of the Bands competition, fill in our Battle of the Bands Entry Form, be sure to include a link to a video of one of your performances.

The deadline for registration is Friday, 15th April.  Once applications are shortlisted, the acts who will be selected to go forward to the heats will be contacted to fill out a more detailed form.

Please make sure that you are free for the dates set in the competition highlighted above.  Schedules for the competition will be set & contact will be made before 18th April to let you know what week/heat has been allocated to you in the competition.

The judging panel for the heats will be the Management of the Court Yard Hotel and Mr. Brian Bradley of Brass Neck Management.

*PA provided each night (details will be provided) – any special requirements will have to be mentioned in advance.  A full checklist will be sent out to the successful acts before the heats.

**To be eligble for entry everyone in the band/act must be over the age of 18.
