Fleadh Cheoil Chill Dara 2011
Fleadh Cheoil Chill Dara takes place in Clane this year from Tuesday 17th May to Sunday 22nd May 2011 and is hosted by Craobh Claonadh Comaltas Ceoltóri Éireann.
The Fleadh competitions for all Age Groups in Music, Dancing, Singing and Cómhrá Gaeilge take place on Sunday 22nd of May, starting at 10am, in Scoil Mhuire, Clane.
The week leading up to the Fleadh will very busy with Various musical and cultural events taking place in a number of venues in Clane. The events include Set Dancing, Sean Nós Dancing, Singing and Storytelling, a Recital with well known traditional musicians Jack Talty (Concertina) and Michelle Mulcahy (Harp and Fiddle), a Set Dance Ceilí with the Glenside Ceilí Band, Aifreann Tradisiúnta, and number of traditional sessions with local and visiting musicians.

Recital in Clane GAA (Upstairs Lounge)
With Jack Talty (Concertina) and Michelle Mulcahy (Harp and Fiddle) at 8.30 p.m. Admission €10
Friday 20th May
Set Dancing Ceilí in Clane GAA Hall
Music by Glenside Ceilí Band.Sets Called by Frank Keenan
Refreshments Served. Dancing 9.30p.m.-12.30a.m. Adm €10
Saturday 21st May
Session in Clane GAA with local and visiting Musicians from 9.30pm.
Aifreann Tradisiúnta at 6.30p.m. in Clane Church
Sunday 22nd May
Competitions for all Age Groups in Music, Dancing , Singing
and Cómhrá Gaeilge - Commencing at 10am.
Please note duets 12-15 start at 10 am
Closing Session in Manzors from 6 pm. Fleadh Raffle at this session
