A friendly 5k road race held by Le Cheile AC - suitable for all levels.
The Leixlip 5k road race has been described by last year's participants as:
- “Fantastic race, couldn't fault a thing. A lot of clubs and especially the AAI could learn a thing or two about how to put on a top notch, enjoyable race.”

A race that is suitable for all levels from club runners to complete novices. It is a fast course that starts outside the Leixlip Amenities Centre and finishes with a lap of the Le Chéile AC grass track.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
Overall: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
Over 40/45/50/55: 1st Male and Female
