By calling the exhibition "A Riddle" the artist is inviting you to come up with your own stories and solutions much like a puzzle or a game. Are they connected? Are they telling the same story or are there many different stories? How do they make you feel?
A riddle is a mystery that requires imagination and inventiveness to solve and as with any good riddle there could be more than one answer. One could even say that childhood is a riddle.
Dragana Jurisic is a Croatian photographer based in Ireland for the past 12 years with a background in educational psychology. She graduated from the University of Wales, Newport, with distinction for her MFA degree in 2008 and is currently working towards her Ph.D. at the European Centre for Photographic Research, UK.
