I bought this bike with a seized gear-box and no exhaust. The frame had been powder coated and the forks polished. Apart from one new gear bought from Honda, I got all the parts I needed from a guy who imported alot of V4 Hondas from America about ten years ago. I wanted to build something low and loud so I cut about six inches off the back of the frame and got rid of all the original parts from the tank back. Replacing them with a GT 750 mudgaurd and small seat, Hagon shocks and chrome turn out pipes. Up front I replaced the head lamp assembly, top and bottom yokes and fitted an extra wide set of bars. The Magna,s tank worked very well with the overall look so I sprayed it and any bits that needed paint. The bike took about six months to complete and would not have been possible without major work done by my friend Dave who rebuilt the gear-box and made all kinds of alloy parts.
