DRUIDS AND ROOTERS TOY RUN 2007
2007 was the 15th running of this event which started way back with the DRUIDS M.C.C. then later, the DRUIDS and CELTS and in the last eleven years the DRUIDS and ROOTERS. Even though this was one of the worst Saturdays weather wise in the history of the run, over 150 bikers turned out raising 4,120 Euro, plus lots of toys and some lovely hampers on the day. The run started at Toughers Restaurant on the Naas-Newbridge rd, at 12.00pm and on to the fair green car park Carlow, then to Paddy's country pub, before finishing up at St. Patrick's Kilkenny. The DRUIDS AND ROOTERS M.C.C.s would like to thank everybody for braving the weather and turning up on the day, and for all the donations. Special thanks must go to our Santa for a job well done. The photos tell the story of the day, and the joy felt both by us the bikers and the residents at the party which was provided by the staff at St. Patrick's. A big thanks to everybody and hope we can all do it again in 2008.
