Thursday, 12th December- Athy Town Council
The annual awards presentation evening will take place this Thursday, 12th December at 7.30pm in the Town Council Chamber.
The Cathaoirleach of Athy Town Council, Councillor Thomas Redmond will make a presentation to the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland (North Barrow Branch) on their recent success in receiving the Waterways Ireland 'River Barrow Award 2013' for environmental improvements and tourism promotion in Athy and environs.
A formal presentation of grant awards to local community and residents groups will be made. In addition, presentations to category winners in the Athy Tidy Towns awards will be made to: - Best Kept Estates - Best Kept Businesses.
