Platform4 Audio and Digital Media Studio – A versatile space for artists / musicians / filmmakers
The mayor of Kildare Brendan Weld will officially launch the
Platform4 Audio and Digital Media Studio on Wednesday 9th of March in Leixlip Community Library at 6pm.
A CD of radio plays ‘They Came from Another Dimension’ will be launched at the event and details of the 2011 Oxegen Battle of the Bands will also be announced.
The Platform4 Audio and Digital Media Studio uses industry standard equipment to ensure artists receive the highest quality product and support. The Platform4 Studio is a versatile space and develops programmes and mentoring opportunities based on artists needs. To find out about the 2011 Platform4 bursary awards click here
The Audio studio is powered by ‘Pro Tools’ software to assist artists and musicians.
The Digital Media Studio uses ‘Final Cut Pro’ software, allowing filmmakers to edit footage, while aspiring / emerging filmmakers will be able to train up on Final Cut Pro with Apple Accredited Training
To see the facilities in the new Platform4 Studio in action , and to hear details of the 2011 Oxegen Battle of the Bands Competition, come along to the launch next Wednesday 9th of March at 6pm in Leixlip Community Library
