Social Inclusion Week 2021

Social Inclusion Week 2021

This year Social Inclusion week will take place from 27th September to 1st October 2021

The Kildare Public Participation Network in collaboration with County Kildare LEADER Partnership host the County Kildare Social Inclusion Week

Social inclusion is the process of improving the terms of participation in society, particularly for people who are disadvantaged, through enhancing opportunities and access to resources.

County Kildare Social Inclusion Week began as a way highlight the fantastic work that is being done by community groups and organisations throughout County Kildare to promote social inclusion within our communities.   Each year these groups and organisations open their doors to the public, hosting events throughout the week, showcasing their work.

Social Inclusion Week Online
In 2020 due to Covid-19 the usual format could not take place, so County Kildare Social Inclusion Week moved online.

More details about this years County Kildare Social Inclusion Week will be available in the coming months.

Check the Kildare Public Participation Network website for more details.
