This is an invitation to all musicians, singers, dancers, drummers, bohdran players, whistlers, lilters. ceile bands, marching bands, grupai cheoil  and all who like Irish music,song and dance.

The Kildare Fleadh will be held in Leixlip on Sunday 27th of April  starting at 10.00am. This is the platform where competitors in 4 age groups, under 12; 12 to 15; 15 to 18; and over 18, compete to qualify for the Leinster Fleadh. Those who are successful in the Leinster will go on to the All Ireland. Only those who live in Kildare can go forward to represent Kildare.

The weekend will start with a Fleadh ceile in Kilcock G.A.A.on Friday 25th  with the Michael Sexton Ceile Band. The ceile will start at 9 pm. On Saturday, there will be an Aifreann Tradsiunta in Leixlip followed by a session in the Rye Vale Tavern. We hope to see musicians from all over Kildare at this session.

The Leinster Fleadh will take place in Dublin (Dundrum)on the 12th and 13th July 2008. The All Ireland Fleadh will once again take place in Tullamore at the end of August.
