Economics - Microeconomics and Macroeconomics

Economics may be classified in various ways

An economy is usually analyzed however in two ways:

Microeconomics and Macroeconomics

This examines the economic behavior of individual units, such as businesses and households, and their interactions through individual markets, taking into account scarcity and government regulation.

This examines an economy as a whole with a view to understanding interactions between the broadest aggregates such as national income and output, employment and inflation and broad aggregates like total consumption and investment spending and their components.
