This is Ireland's main second-level teachers' union and represents 17,000 teachers in community schools, community colleges, comprehensive schools and voluntary secondary schools attended by 75% of all second-level students.

The ASTI acts as a professional association voicing the concerns and interests of the teaching profession at second-level and as a registered trade union which protects teachers and fights for improvements in their pay and conditions of employment

The Centre plays an important role in the delivery of in-service education at both Primary and Post Primary level. It also promotes a culture of collaboration, co-operation and on-going professional development.

This is the largest teachers' trade union in Ireland. It represents teachers at primary level in the Republic of Ireland and at primary and post-primary level in Northern Ireland.

The INTO is a non-party, non-sectarian, non-sexist and non-racist Organisation.
The affairs of the INTO are determined in accordance with the Organisation's Rules and Constitution, available to all members.

TUI represents over 12,000 members at second and third level in the education service. The Union is made up of 62 Branches in 19 Areas.

This is an organisation for teachers and lecturers in Ireland engaged in post-primary, higher and further education. TUI members are to be found in Vocational Schools, Community Colleges, Comprehensive and Community Schools at second level, in Institutes of Technology and other third-level institutions as well as in the PLC sector. There are also members in specialists areas such as prison education, schools for the blind, Traveller Training Centres, Youthreach Centres, curriculum development bodies and Adult Education.
