Yeats Declared for The Irish Field St Leger

4 times Ascot Gold Cup winner Yeats is one of 8 runners declared for The Irish Field St Leger taking place at the Curragh this Saturday. The Group 1 classic will also feature the Dermot Weld trained Profound Beauty and the Godolphin owned Schiaparelli, who is one of three British trained challengers.

The Aidan O’Brien trained Alfred Nobel is one of six runners for the Group 1 Ladbrokes.com Vincent O’Brien National Stakes on the same program with other contenders including the Jim Bolger trained Chabal and Kingsfort trained by Kevin Prendergast

 



 


An exhibition to commemorate the life of Vincent O’Brien will take place over both days to coincide with the inaugural running of the Group 1 Vincent O’Brien National Stakes which he won fifteen times during his illustrious career. This will include an exhibition of memorabilia open to the public and presentations to some of his closest associates including Lester Piggott. 1st race 2.15pm
