Strong Overseas Challenge for Europe's Richest 2YO Races

Home trained team to face strong overseas challenge for Goffs Millions at the Curragh this Sunday.

A total of 20 runners will face the starter in the Goffs Million Sprint at the Curragh this Sunday with the Tommy Stack trained Walk on Bye likely to start favourite, while 19 runners will line up for the Goffs Million Mile with a strong British trained challenge including the John Gosden trained Azmeel, while the home team will be lead by Stunning View, Famous and Crystal Gal. 

St Nicholas Abbey will face 8 runners in the Group 2 Juddmonte Beresford Stakes with opposition to the Aidan O’Brien trained performer including the Godolphin owned Passion for Gold and Layali Al Andalus trained in Britain by Mark Johnston

A massive 30 runners line up in the ultra competitive Hacketts Bookmakers Irish Cesarewitch lead by the Dermot Weld trained Majestic Concorde

There will be a variety of entertainment throughout the afternoon including a 20,000 euro fashion prize to spend with Ireland’s most exclusive retailer Brown Thomas for the lady judged to be the Most Stylish by television presenter Amanda Byram, publisher Michael Doherty and Stacey O’Donnell of Brown Thomas

Live music from the Slovak Strings, Latin Express during the afternoon, a mini food festival and free activities for children will add the festival atmosphere at the County Kildare venue.

Admission can be purchased on the day for only 15 euro, while children under 15 are free.

The first of 7 races takes place at 2.15pm.
