The first Motorcycle Track Day Training day of 2012 is now completely full and some spaces on the next event have already been taken up by riders who have missed out on places. If you are looking to avail of the expert instruction available on these highly popular days, now is the time to get booked in for May 5th as no further dates for training are currently available.
Track Day training has two aims. The first is to allow provisional licence holders a way of getting on track, while the second is to give novice track riders a grounding in what to expect at a track day, how to prepare for your day and how to get the most from yourself and your motorcycle when you get there.
Motorcycle Track Day Training is an invaluable way to get started on track. The course consists of classroom sessions, slow speed manoeuvres and an afternoon of track riding with plenty of one-to-one tuition. Provisional licence holders who successfully complete the course will be provided with a licence to take part in further Mondello Park track days which would normally require a full licence.
To make the training day more accessible the normal requirement of full or two piece zip-together leathers is not enforced, which saves riders having to invest in track gear prior to deciding whether track riding is for them or not.
