At the end of a very successful first year for Mondello.TV, the live streaming channel owned and run by Mondello Park, broadcast from the UK for the first time during October and is now looking forward to a bigger and better 2014.
Mondello.TV began broadcasting in early 2013 and has streamed live footage from all Car Race meetings at the Kildare venue this year. Following on from this, the Mondello.TV crew travelled to Brands Hatch in Kent to cover both the Mondello Park based Patch Tyre Equipment Fiesta races and the Formula Ford Festival Final, one of the biggest single seater races in the UK and one which has historically been won by many drivers who went on to race in Formula One.
Mondello.TV enjoyed over 5,600 live views during the Festival weekend and with the coverage now uploaded to the web site, more than 15,000 additional people have tuned in bringing the still growing viewing figures to over 21,000.
Following the Brands Hatch trip, Mondello Park Managing Director John Morris expressed his satisfaction with Mondello.TV's first overseas event. “We are delighted with the reaction to the Mondello.TV coverage. We broadcast in HD, so the quality is excellent and in a one hour period on its first day the uploaded Formula Ford Final footage had over 300 views and looks like going viral. The reach of Live Streaming is unlimited and the beauty of the internet is that we can see what our viewers are watching and where they are viewing from”.
Mondello Park have bigger and better plans for Mondello.TV in 2014 and allied to this, there are some very exciting and cost effective advertising opportunities available through the channel. These include prominent track side advertising, branded coverage of race events and even ads between races.
