9 runners to line up in Keeneland Phoenix Stakes, Sunday

curragh-logo Probably will aim to give trainer David Wachman his second winner of the prestigious Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh this Sunday when he lines up among 9 runners in the Group 1 contest.

The recent winner of the Dubai Duty Free Railway Stakes will face tough competition from the Aidan O’Brien trained pair of Pedro The Great and Cristoforo Colombo, while recent Goodwood winner Bungle inthejungle is the sole British trained entry.
 
Famous Name and Born To Sea head a select number of runners in the Group 2 Keeneland Royal Whip Stakes on the same programme, while the John Oxx trained Harasiya is likely to start favourite in the Group 2 Keeneland Debutante Stakes.  Definightly, trained in Britain by Roger Charlton, is one of nine runners in the Group 3 Patrick P O’Leary Memorial Phoenix Sprint, while the home trained team is led by multiple Group 1 race winner Starspangledbanner, together with Fire Lily and Invincible Ash.
 
1st race 2.20pm. Admission 15 Under 16s Free.   Free car parking. Trains to Kildare Town with free shuttle to races and  also Dublin Coach service to races

Saturday 25th Irish Cambridgeshire & Gain Horse Feeds Irish St Leger Trial Stakes
Sunday 26th Galileo Futurity Stakes
