30 runners for Irish Cesarewitch this Sunday

Curragh-LogoA full field of 30 runners will face the starter in the featured Tote Super Trifecta Irish Cesarewitch taking place at the Curragh this Sunday 13th October.

Leading contenders include Time for Action, Cullentry Royal, Marchese Marconi, Call Me Bubbles, Egyptian Wonder, Maxim Gorky, Hisaabaat, Paddy The Celeb, Celestial Prospect and the British trained pair of Montefeltro and Becausewecan both trained by Brian Ellison.

The competitive support programme includes the valuable Staffordstown Stud Stakes, which has attracted six runners including the Dermot Weld trained Flying Jib,  Dazzling trained by Aidan O’Brien and the Jim Bolger trained pair of Intense Light and Leafy Suburb.

Angels Will Fall will represent leading British based trainer Charlie Hills in the Johnny O’Sullivan Lifetime in Racing Achievement Waterford Testimonial Stakes, where the home trained team includes Balmont Mast, Cristoforo Columbo and Leitir Mor

Admission 15 euro Under 25s & Seniors 8 euro, Under 16s (accompanied by an adult) Free

Transport: Trains to Kildare Town with free shuttle to races. Dublin Coach provide race day service (see dublincoach.ie)

The finale of the 2013 Curragh season takes place on Tuesday 15th October  - admission is free for all. 1st race 1.45pm
