Cranberry Open Day at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre

Join us for a Cranberry Open Day at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre on Sunday 29th November from 12 noon - 4pm.

Throughout the Summer and Autumn the Irish Peatland Conservation Council (IPCC) have hosted a series of wildlife talks and walks as part of their Féile an Dúlra (Festival of Nature).  Cranberry day will mark the end of Féile an Dúlra for 2009 and there is something for everyone on the day.

Dr. Catherine O'Connell, CEO of IPCC will present a cranberry themed slide show followed by a cranberry tasting session, the peatland museum and gardens will be open all day for you to browse at your leisure, nature crafts making natural christmas tree decorations will be a fun activity for younger visitors and the nature shop will be open all day so you can pick up that perfect gift for family or friends this Christmas.

For further information contact the centre on 045-860133.  All welcome.
