World Heart Day is Sunday 30th September 2007 and the Irish Heart Foundation is marking World Heart Day by asking you to get involved by organising a walk in your community or workplace. This national walk campaign is the final activity of Irish Heart Week 2007.
If you register your walk on the Irish Heart Foundation website, you will recieve,
- A helpful guide for organising your walk
- Organiser tee-shirts and balloons
- Information on Slí na Sláinte walking routes to help you choose your walk
- Temporary Slí signs to mark and advertise your route
- A regular newsletter with tips and ideas
- World Heart Day posters and certificates
Slí na Sláinte is a walking programme for your community that has everything from signs to show you how far you have walked, to walking leader training.
