The Kildare Community Partnership, the local development agency based at Jigginstown, Naas will administer the Millennium Partnership Fund providing support for 3rd Level students who are from South County Kildare and who are eligible under on or more of the following headings:
- Mature students re-entering education
- Disadvantaged third level rural students
- Disadvantaged third level students
- Students who are independent parents
- Students with disabilities
The supports may cover accommodation/ rent, transport, childcare and books.

The Millennium Partnership Fund 2007-2008 is funded by the Department of Education and Science under the National Development Plan 2007-2013, with assistance from the European Social Fund.
Last year over 30 students from South County Kildare were supported by the Millennium Partnership Fund. All of the students supported were extremely positive about the impact the awards had made to their educational progress.
