A: Community Development Project Worker- North East Expansion (Initial short-term contract to March 31st 2008)
The ideal candidate will support the Programme Manager and the Cohesion Team in implementing the role-out of the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme into North East Kildare.
Experience in a similar working environment, a track record in Community Development and an ability to work with a cross section of Community Groups essential. Ability to carry out pre-development work, building relationships and supporting communities engage in the development of a local area plan also essential.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Community Development principles and a commitment to working within an equality and anti-racism framework.
