Job - Youth Club Leaders
Location - Newbridge Family Resource Centre
Time - 7.30 – 9.00 every second Wednesday

The National Council for the Blind are looking for volunteers in each of the following areas:

1. Johnstown Manor, Naas
Elderly lady is looking for companionship & assistance with reading & writing

2.Kill
Gentleman in his 60's would like somebody to accompany him on walks

3.Maynooth
Gentleman in his 30's would like some assistance with reading material onto tape & organising study material. He would also be delighted if there was somebody who would go out with him on his tandem bicycle.

4.Kilcullen
A lady in her 40's would like someone to go out for coffee, do some shopping and go for walks.

5.Newbridge
Elderly lady would like somebody to take her for a drive or go for a
walk during the daytime.

 

Irish Blind Sports

Vacancy : Athletics Co-ordinators
Time : 3/5 hrs approx. a week
Some national and international travel may be necessary
Skills : Good organisational skills, interest in athletics and an interest in working with visually impaired people.
Garda clearance required.
