The Kildare Community Partnership (formerly Action South Kildare) is a well-established and dynamic Community Group, funded by Pobal under the Government’s National Development Plan. Kildare Community Partnership responds to the needs of disadvantaged individuals and groups, and promotes social inclusion and integration.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for the following position.
YOUTH PROJECT WORKER [4 Days/Week]
Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension to contract.
The ideal candidate will support the implementation of agreed areas of work from the Life Options and Family Support Programmes as they relate to young people in the community.
Experience in a similar working environment, a track record in a Youth Work context, Knowledge and understanding of Community Development principles in recognising the roles of young people in decision-making and participation are essential. Commitment to working within an equality and anti-racism framework also essential
Salary and Conditions: €30,631 - €36,248 PRO RATA
