Kildare Volunteer Centre are now in a position to offer Training in Volunteer Management to assist organizations with managing effective and efficient volunteer programmes.
The course is user friendly, designed as a tool to assist groups in all aspects of volunteer management.
The course is broken down into four modules of 3.5 hours over four mornings.
- Planning for Volunteer Involvement – designing volunteer roles
- Recruitment and Selection of volunteers –including induction for volunteers
- Supervision of Volunteers – Recognition, motivation and support
- Designing a policy for Volunteer involvement
As numbers are limited to 14 participants, places are reserved on a first come first served basis.
Participation for this course is restricted to people wishing to complete all four modules, while individual modules will be available to experienced practitioners on future courses.
