North Star Swimming Club - a voluntary swimming club for people with disabilities. Church Gate Collection on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September in Our Lady's Nativity Church, Leixlip before and after all masses.
We also have a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 23rd November in St Mary's GAA, Green Lane, Leixlip from 12-6pm. Fun for all the family. Trader tables are 25euro and to be booked with Valerie at northstarswimmingclub@gmail.com in advance.
The North Star Swimming Club celebrated its 20th year in operation last year but now, due to financial constraints, are facing the high possibility of having to fold.
The Club is run on a totally voluntary basis, mainly by volunteers and familiy members of swimmers. A high proportion of costs are covered by fundraisers.
