This year's Person of the year Awards takes place in the Diamond Suite of the Derby House Hotel in Kildare Town on Friday 18th July 2008 @ 8.00 pm.
MC on the night will be Matt Browne - the winner will go forward to the County Person of the Year

Presentation to the winner Marjorie Moore will be made in Diamond Suite Gala night in Derby House Hotel on Friday 18th July @ 8pm.
Other awards will be made to various persons who made a special contribution to this years 30th kildare Derby Festival.
Friends & relatives of the nominees are invited along with the entire Community of Kildare - after all this festival grew from the Community of Kildare and displays the commitment of volunteers of Kildare - the Heritage town.
