The Local Authority Members’ Association (LAMA) represents elected councillors nationwide. They play a pivotal role in local government, being charged with representing their constituents in local issues, providing leadership within the community and being responsible for the provision of local services.
The awards received a staggering response to the call for all county councils to participate and congratulate those whose work has been of tremendous benefit to the community. The shortlisted finalists from Kildare County Council are:

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Saturday 20th January in the Burlington Hotel, hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan. The Local Authority Members’ Association is now welcoming reservations for this notable event.
