The Kildare Community & Education Partnership (KCEP) have just launched a new report "LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD" in the Áras Bríde, Kildare Town.
This research is the first town-wide consultation of this size. Every household in Kildare town received a questionnaire and members of the community also took part in the interview process from interviewee to interviewer.
It was led by KCEP but made possible through the work of the steering group
( KCP, KCC, HSCL, KYS, HSE and KCEP). This project was funded by Kildare County Council, Kildare Community Partnership, Department of Social and Family Affairs and Kildare Youth Services.
The research will enable the people of Kildare town to lobby decision makers for better services.
The KCEP is a local voluntary organisation and is funded by local voluntary contributions. Its membership consists of representatives of local organisations and service provider agencies (Kildare Schools, Kildare Education Centre, Kildare County Council, Kildare Community Partnership, Kildare Parish, KARE, Vincent de Paul and Presentation Sisters,). It works in an ongoing way in partnership with all other service provider especially Kildare Youth Services and Kildare Adult Learning Centre.
