The Fianna Fáil candidates for Naas Area, Kildare County Council were announced this week as James Lawless and Cllr. Willie Callaghan.
James is 32 years of age and is well known as an activist on residents and community issues and also commuter campaigns where he is a spokesperson with the Naas and Sallins rail users group. A Trinity graduate, James works in IT and project management and is married with a young family. His priorities include public transport, a cleaner local environment, better planning and better public amenities. Cllr. Willie Callaghan was elected to Kildare County Council in 2004 and has been a member of Naas Town Council for the past 15 yrs. He was the first Mayor of Naas and has worked hard for the people of Naas over the years.
