WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING & ARE HOLDING A RECRUITMENT EVENT IN THE MAUDLINS HOTEL, DUBLIN ROAD, NAAS ON TUESDAY 27 SEPTEMBER FROM 10AM TIL 3PM

RELIEF SOCIAL CARE WORKERS

Applicants must have:

  • FETAC Level 5+ qualification relevant to social care
  • At least 2 years direct experience of working with individuals with   severe Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, Intellectual Disability or Challenging Behaviour

 

PSYCHIATRIC NURSES

  • Experience working with individuals with Aspergers Syndrome/ Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Brain Injury and Mental Health issues for both permanent and contract roles.
  • Successful candidates will work within residential houses based in Kildare/ Laois/ Offaly.
  • Challenging roles requiring particular flexibility to appropriately support people in the pursuit of their lifestyle choices.
  • An Bord Altranais registration is essential as well as an up to date knowledge of HIQA qualifications.

 

HEALTHCARE SECURITY STAFF

Applicants must have:

  • Experience of dealing appropriately with Challenging Behaviour in the area of intellectual disability.
  • Professional qualification relevant to care would be beneficial but is not essential once you have experience of the above.
  • Caring, compassionate nature together with an ability to communicate effectively with service users during social/domestic activities.

 

TCI, CPI, SAM'S, OFA and Manual Handling Training would be beneficial for these positions but is not essential.  All applicants must have a clean Driving Licence, be over 23 years of age (for insurance purposes) and have a current work permit (if applicable).
