GAIN Horse Feeds to Sponsor Irish St Leger

GAIN Horse Feeds GAIN Horse Feeds, a subsidiary of Glanbia plc, has announced a two year sponsorship deal with The Curragh Racecourse for the Irish St Leger. The GAIN Horse Feeds Irish St Leger will take place on Saturday 15th September 2012. This will mark the 97th running of this Group 1 Irish Classic


The €200,000 contest over 14 furlongs is one of the most prestigious staying races in the world and the established premier trail race in Europe for the Melbourne Cup.  Recent previous winners include Yeats, Vinnie Roe, Oscar Schindler and subsequent Melbourne Cup winner Vintage Crop, while Duncan and Jukebox Jury created history when dead heating in an epic encounter last year.
