Fitzpatrick Urges Kildare Companies to Apply for Government R&D Grants

Michael Fitzpatrick TD Kildare North Fianna Fail T.D. Michael Fitzpatrick has urged local companies to avail of the €500 million Research and Development Scheme.

“This R&D funding will help Kildare businesses in securing quality jobs, growing exports and increasing profits.”

“The R&D Grant Scheme has just been launched and has been revised and simplified to ensure that companies across all sectors can access the funds.”

“This new move is in line with Government policy to decrease red tape for businesses in a bit to support economic growth and job creation.”

“Ireland has developed a reputation as being a top location for ground breaking research. Company-to-company collaborations and partnerships between our third level institutions and companies are a vital part of this.”

“This Scheme will encourage collaboration between companies, particularly small businesses.”

“I would like to encourage any Kildare companies who think they might qualify to contact their local Enterprise Ireland and speak to them about the opportunities to develop R&D,” concluded Deputy Fitzpatrick.
