riverbank-jul-sep-2012 "We have a great line up of theatre, music, workshops and cinema. Some will already be disappointed as the children’s workshops sell out fast, however we do have some spaces left for teenager’s workshops in July and August. Also keep an eye out for Adult writing workshops in September. Log onto the website to view all the workshops or call our box office now to book your kids into something special this summer.

We are rounding up our current season with a production from Griese Youth Theatre on Friday June 29th with a play about teenage love called “It Only Ever Happens in the Movies” And storming their way back by popular demand are the Silken Thomas Players with Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem for two special shows on Saturday June 30th & Sunday July 1st.

On Friday July 13th, we have a great night out for all you tennis lovers. 'Love All' is a comedy about love, murder and......Tennis! Join us before the performance for strawberries and cream and get into the spirit of Wimbledon before the match begins on stage at 8pm.

David Kitt will take to the stage to perform his acclaimed album Small Moments. We have all followed David Kitt over the years and this is an opportunity to see him perform in an intimate setting, so book early to avoid disappointment. We also have 'March Away My Brothers', a one man show that follows Lawrence Kelly from Dublin’s Liberties to the Christmas Truce of 1914.

We have a great line up this summer between holidays, sunshine, BBQ's and events at Riverbank Arts Centre, we hope you have a wonderful summer. Enjoy!"
