Great Movies, Great Value at Riverbank Cinema

An Education If you're interested in film from around the world and would like to experience something a little different to the usual cinema, then Riverbank CINEMA may be just the thing for you. Every Monday night Riverbank Arts Centre transforms its theatre into a cinema, with a full screen and a high definition projection system.

A Serious Man Having just launched it's new Spring programme, the Spring film season begins on Monday April 12th, 8pm with An Education, an unforgettable coming of age story about a 16 year old girl growing up in the 60s. Other films in the season include Jane Campion’s Bright Star, Michael Haneke’s Oscar nominated The White Ribbon, the Coen brothers’ a Serious Man and much more.

Full membership is only €32.00 per person and includes all Monday night screenings in the Spring season, unbeatable value for money.

Arrive for early for a drink or coffee from 7pm on Monday nights, meet like-minded film lovers, receive regular e-bulletins keeping you up to date on the latest film news and special screenings at Riverbank. The Wizard of Oz Also, this season Riverbank is offering a number of Saturday screenings for children. On Saturday April 17th, see the Oscar winning Disney/Pixar film Up, on May 1st catch up with Miss Piggy, Kermit and Fozzy Bear with The Muppet Movie and Saturday June 19th brings a wonderful opportunity to see the everlasting classic The Wizard of Oz on the big screen.
