Fantastic Events at Riverbank Arts Centre


riverbank arts centre Easter may well be over but nevertheless here at Riverbank Arts Centre it continues to be a season “choc” full of fantastic events! We have a great line-up of events over the coming weeks that include everything from a classic Charles Dickens tale to marvellous musical gems and all lady comedy singing sensations!
 
A must see for this coming Thursday 12th April is an adaptation of one of Charles Dickens greatest novels, Great Expectations. This stage piece tells a story of love and loss, of guilt and shame, of fear and courage and has some of the most vivid and memorable characters in all of English literature.
 
And don't forget our Early Bird Ticket offer! Purchase tickets for this show and selected others before Friday 13th April to avail of a price of €10 per ticket. Award-winning Frances Black takes to the stage on Saturday 14th April. An exceptional Irish talent, she values the importance of connecting with her audience so this is sure to be a memorable experience for audiences as they enjoy a wonderful collection of hit songs.
 
Local group Droichead Nua present The Good Father on Thursday April 19th, a warm, tender and funny love story about two people from different social backgrounds who find themselves attempting a relationship in a difficult situation.
 
What's more we have The Nualas and their brand new show Older, Wiser, Heftier which takes place on Saturday 21st April. Their new material has already got rave reviews so it is not to be missed.
 
In addition to all these magnificent events we have two excellent cinematic features in the Oscar-winning The Artist and Shame starring Michael Fassbender.
